About Me

This is what I do.

Hello there, internet traveler! You've found yourself on my personal blog! I hope you find your stay both educational and fun.

My name is Samuel McFadden. I'm a computer science student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with specialization in computer graphics and high-performance computing. This blog is about my experience as a student in the quickly changing field of computer graphics. The reason I'm interested in computer graphics is because it's one of the most fulfilling areas of computer science. Nothing beats seeing small children in awe at a short film that you've worked on, or letting someone experience the affects of global warming first hand through virtual reality. Computer graphics is behind it all--and I love being a part of it.

You can see some of the things that I've worked on by going to the "Resume" tab. Or, you can click on the "Interactive Web Projects" tab to see some of my WebGL projects. To see all of my other projects, please check out my Github by clicking the Github button at the bottom of the page or clicking here.

Enjoy your stay!

Samuel
